Gaston College has three honored on 2025 All-Region 10 team

For only the third time in Gaston College basketball history, the school has three all-league selections.

Sophomores Jordan Brown, Judah Ravenell and Tyheim Love were named to the All-Region 10 team, with Brown earning first team honors and Ravenell and Love on the second team in voting done by the league's coaches.

It's the first time since 1970 that the school has had three players honored and only in 1969 (three selections) and 1970 (four selections) has the school had three or more honorees.

A 6-foot-2 sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., Brown leads the Rhinos is scoring (14.1 average) and assists (4.4 average) and is fourth in rebounding (4.4 average).

A 6-3 sophomore from Charlotte, Ravenell leads the Rhinos in rebounding (8.5 average) and is second in scoring (13.3).

And Love, a 6-1 sophomore from Petersburg, Va., is third on the team in scoring (13.2).

Previously, only two Rhinos (Jaylen Bates in 2022 and Dee Merriweather in 2023) had earned All-Region 10 honors with 11 honorees from 1969 to 1972 when Gaston College competed in the North Carolina Community College Conference.
